This year I was accepted into Tasmania's Body & Soul Festival that was held at the Albert Hall in Launceston, Tasmania. Each year this festival runs on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday following Easter.

My goal for this weekend was to step out of my comfort zone, get some more face to face reading experience, to meet new like-minded people and most of all to gain exposure locally and throughout Tasmania.

Well the great news is that I achieved all of my goals and got even more than I bargained for. I was given the opportunity to preform a demonstration in the foyer to around a dozen people. This was something I aim to do later on in my career but when the opportunity presented itself I embraced it with open arms and I like to think I did well.

For me the weekend gave me the chance to network, meet people, learn about myself and also it expanded my confidence in my readings and abilities. I received wonderful support and advice from other professionals, the kindness shown by other stall holders was what made this festival a success. I felt we were all part of a team of people working together.

It was wonderful to meet each and every person that I came into contact with during this weekend and I look forward to crossing paths again in the near future.
